Montréal Casino & Hotel

Casino Hotel | Île Notre-Dame, Montréal, Québec, Canada | Checked August 2026

The gist

The complex stands on Ile Notre-Dame in Montreal and uses pavilions built for the world's fair of nineteen sixty-seven, with a hotel added to the site. Restaurants and a hall for live programming form part of the public side of the buildings. This entry covers the hotel and those public rooms, and the gaming floor is not described here.

The site

Ile Notre-Dame is a built island in the Saint Lawrence, reached by bridge and by metro and bus from the city. Parc Jean-Drapeau surrounds the buildings, with paths and water around them. The former French and Quebec pavilions form the main structures on the site.

Ask ahead

Ask how to reach the island on your dates, since bridge access changes when events are held in the park. Write about restaurant hours, about parking, and about whether the live programme is running, as that schedule is set some way ahead.

Entry 2 of 4

Fallsview Casino Resort

Casino Hotel | Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada | Checked August 2026

The gist

The resort is built into the slope above the Niagara gorge in Ontario, on the Fallsview side of the town. A hotel, a theatre, a spa, restaurants and retail galleries occupy the complex, which steps down the hillside. This entry covers those parts of the building, and the gaming floor is not described here.

The site

The site looks toward the Horseshoe Falls from higher ground, and walkways connect it to the streets above. Levels inside follow the slope, so guests move between them by escalator and lift. The Niagara Parkway and the falls themselves lie within walking distance downhill.

Ask ahead

Ask which rooms face the gorge, since the outlook varies with the level and the wing. It is worth writing about theatre dates, about whether the spa takes bookings from hotel guests directly, and about age rules, which apply to parts of the complex.

Entry 3 of 4

River Rock Casino Resort

Casino Hotel | Richmond, British Columbia, Canada | Checked August 2026

The gist

The resort stands beside the Fraser River in Richmond, British Columbia, and takes in a hotel, a show theatre, a spa and a group of restaurants. A marina lies on the water alongside it. This entry covers the hotel and the public rooms, and the gaming floor is not described here.

The site

The buildings face the north arm of the river, with a walkway and moorage along the water. Bridgeport station stands next to the site, so the rail line runs from it toward Vancouver and the airport. Parking structures sit behind the main block.

Ask ahead

Ask about the show schedule, since the theatre programme is set in advance and rooms fill around it. Write about airport shuttle arrangements, about which rooms look toward the river, and about age rules for the parts of the complex you plan to use.

Entry 4 of 4

Casino Rama Resort

Casino Hotel | Rama, Ontario, Canada | Checked August 2026

The gist

The resort stands on the lands of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation in Ontario, near Orillia. It holds a hotel, an entertainment centre used for concerts, a spa and a group of restaurants. This entry covers the hotel and those public parts of the site, and the gaming floor is not described here.

The site

The site lies in open country north of Orillia, between Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe, and is reached by road. Buildings are grouped around a central block with parking around them. Golf courses and lakeshore roads run through the surrounding area.

Ask ahead

Ask about the concert schedule, because rooms are tied closely to event nights. It is worth writing about shuttle services from nearby towns, about restaurant hours outside event evenings, and about age rules, which apply to parts of the resort.

Elite Social Network is not connected to any of the resorts on this page and receives nothing from them. Details come from open sources and may change. The site sells nothing and takes no bookings. Confirm rooms, restaurants, theatre dates and entry rules with the resort before travelling.
